  • The purpose of the bursary is to assist teachers who are studying towards Fellowship or Maestro Enrico Cecchetti Diploma.
  • At the discretion of an appointed Bursary Selection Panel, a bursary may be shared or granted to more than one applicant.
  • The Study Bursary honours the dedication to teaching, the promotion of the art form and the selfless investment in the Cecchetti Method by Diana Barker, an esteemed Cecchetti teacher, Chair of the Cecchetti Classical Ballet Faculty, ISTD between 1976-1990, and a founder member and Chair of The Cecchetti Society Trust 1978-1990.
  • The total monetary value of the Bursary is fixed by the Trust, and can be used for the cost of tuition, or the examination entry fee, or partly both, for either the Fellowship, endorsed by the ISTD, or the Enrico Cecchetti Diploma, certified by the CSSA.
